Twenty six Toledo parking spaces were transformed into temporary parks Friday.  It was all part of Park(ing) Day 2011 in Toledo.

Park(ing) Day, which originated in San Francisco, is a global event which converts urban parking spaces to green space one day a year.

The Toledo version of the event was sponsored by the UpTown Association.
